I’m not the kind of gullible single man, comfortably occupied by being missing the fun every weekend. I’d wager you haven’t pegged me to write a blog about great dating and compatibility. That’s just me for ya.
Boredom is a fixable human characteristic and completely ripped out of my family history. But I do have a tender heart. I’ll level with you, I had no choice but to squelch a worthwhile relationship and I felt a great deal for but essentially deadended for both of us. I guess somone could go on record saying it has been a few years since I dated. I can’t find the great expectations Denver I once did.
Being single is new and free. One thing is for sure, I refuse to lounge about, peacefully watching Star Trek Enterprise reruns. The primary factor behind this bout of fresh break-up dating lameness? My coworkers are stiffs, and there are fewer available women.
My accomplished football pal, Brandon, who will never have dating boredom, informed me he’s almost in the same boat. He joinedGreat Expectations Denver. I can’t argue with getting to know fun singles who meet my values. Surprise, I put myself on a plan and paid the membership fee to get started.
Be honest, ya can’t complain by being alone when ya haven’t picked up the phone. As our mentor and baseball coach Terry Jennings repeated to no end with a smile, “Fools lose before they try, shooter.”
So he was divorced 4 times. Regardles, the man was a source of truth without being self-righteous. He was good humored. The fantastic Dallas Singles site I joined could have overloaded the old man’s mind.
At yesterday’s Great Expectations dating events I breezily chatted with a few quality and attractive singles that hold my eye. I actually had a carefree night with dozens of terrific remarkable men and women. Called it a night with a promising exchange of numbers, and even grew some professional connections for work. Score.
